Mark Walter

Mark Walter is an abstract painter and sculptor based in Saint Leonards-on-Sea. Born in Purley, Mark Walter has lived in Surrey, London, and now East Sussex, drawing inspiration from the varied landscapes and textures of these regions. His art practice is characterised by the application and removal of multiple layers of paint, working with both the surface and subsurface until each piece reaches a conclusion.
