2025

Hello
It's been a while, but that's because I have changed the format, so you don't get bored with me. Well, that's my excuse anyway! This is one of four newsletters this year, and I have artfully called it spring, although I know it's almost summer!

Events
It's been a slow start after a hectic year last year regarding exhibitions. I am in a new, not-to-be-missed group exhibition with Jude Armstrong, tastefully titled  Sex Success in Sussex. Private View, on Friday 30th May and over that weekend, 31st and 1st of June, at Electro studios.
Please read more about Jude in an article I wrote a few months ago,  Jude Armstrong's & Geraldine Swayne's exhibition at the Hastings Museum. I am also planning a group and solo show later in the year; more will follow in the next newsletter. Please view my Events page for more details on upcoming exhibitions.

Work in progress

I have been working on some new work, or more accurately, reworking old works. I have returned to my favourite process of layering and then scraping the paint back to see what is revealed underneath and how the paint reacts when applied differently. This is one of a series that I plan to show in my solo show later in the year.

Thats all for now but I plan to send out another newsletter in the near future. I hope to see you at the exhibition at the Electro Studios.
